Noted South Carolina poet Juanita Pittman-Brown recently visited Greenwood for a book signing. Pittman-Brown, whose career as a nurse has spanned for over 30 years, currently resides in Cross Hill. She is a native South Carolinian whose collections of Poetry, Affirmation and Quotes are inspiring her fans, old and new, across the state. The respected author has penned and published two books: Words in Bloom and What a Mother Says. Her poetry and aphorisms are true to her southern roots and her affirmations are founded in her heritage.
